The Old Stable has a fully equipped kitchen but if you dont fancy cooking there are many local pubs and restaurants. The Bath Arms @ Horningsham and The Bradley Hare @ Maiden Bradley are both within walking distance.
Leisure time
Take in the local towns for some lovely independent stores or travel to one of the larger local shopping centre, or maybe a day at the races with both Wincanton and Salisbury Racecourses being local.
Beaches
If you would like to go to the beach we are only approximately 1.25 hours away from Weston-Super-Mare or 1.5 hours away from the beautiful beaches of Bournemouth

Beautiful property, warm cosy and clean. The little extras on arrival of a pint of milk in the fridge and a cheeky treat, bottle of fiz just makes it more special. Throughly enjoyed staying here. And hope to return in the future. Well done great place!

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Stable, and would love to return! The thoughtful touches of drink, chocs and fresh flowers on arrival were lovely, the decor and environment is beautiful and restful. The hot tub and log burner were great, facilities all worked well, instructions were clear on how to access the property, and such a comfortable bed, thank you!

The photos look exactly like the place we stayed, I know it should but sometimes it doesn’t. There’s WiFi and lots of space, it’s also equipped with everything you need, towels, dish cloth, soap, tea towels, pots, pans, mugs, cutlery etc.
